Gift Card Switch

  1. #1
Okay i briefly read over the other thread and what information i read was inaccurate or lacking important details.

Yes this can actually work but only with returns and sometimes still be more of a hassle then worth well doing for basically 100$, but if your a desperate person for whatever your reason may be i'll explain on proper example and 1 store I know where it works.

Step:1-Steal items to return in value of return policy allowed without having receipt.(100$ is typically most allowed)

Step:2-Take the Return card used by cashier to load money on to use as the switch card.(Dollar General Cards Used In Returns Or Also On Gift Card Wall Section).

Step:3-As soon as the cashier hands you the return card take other card used for switch and place with store return receipt handed back to you with card back to him and make a purchase of ciggs, milk, etc and yes we all know the card wont read, but he will automatically think that he has made an error and you can then play the victim and most times instead of thinking they got shammed they will think they made a human error and try to fix it ASAP.

Step:4-Now you have two cards with cash on them to spend on whatever dumb dollar general shit you want to buy your heart desires or like most drug addicts sell them for 50%.

Any card you need to load cash on will not work as that is a store transaction with activation numbers matching receipt and card and easily tracked unlike returns of items with no receipt and being paid out in a transaction method that the actual cashier has to manually do himself and it's usually the manager who can only do returns.

Also here is another gift card scam that works for sure out there. Do a return at lows, Home Depot, Etc that you can make transactions over there net sites using gift cards.

Copy all the card information down.

Sell card to whoever/whatever ripoff buyer is at in your neighborhood. So they call the card to make sure the cash is on it and then pay you out and you leave.

Go on the stores site and make purchases online for instore pick up.

Now you have items again with receipt plus money made from gift card you made.

when i buy stuff using my credit card for instore pick up they always want to see he card as id tho. wouldn't they want to see the gift card to make sure you were the purchaser?

Well sir you need to use your I.D. for the return card you received from the original transaction so that being on file you can play the card of- I lost the card/didn't realize you needed it for the pickup but your store records will show that the card used is from me and on your store files.

Right, so do you need to remove and reapply the scratch off stuff, or can a magnetic card reader pull that info?
