Not really. I don't really like having things. I moved to Florida with literally 2 suitcases. I haven't really accumulated many more things in the past 4 years I've been here. I like the feeling of being able to move away tomorrow if I feel like it.
I have precisely 1 couch, 1 TV, 1 desk, one dining table, 1 shelf, 1 lamp, 1 ironing table + iron, and 2 beds (because I got one as a holdover and the second delivered from the internet). I have a fair amount of clothes and shoes (refrain from the low hanging gay joke fruit) but they would easily fit in 2 suitcases. I have a cat tree I got on sale.
Pretty much the biggest purchase I've made is my PC. The only thing I wouldn't mind leaving and running without is my cat and my fish, but I have arrangements for them.
Say what you want about this reflecting my wealth (or lack of it), I have no intention of burdening myself with things. Except my Land Cruiser, because it can essentially carry my entire life.
