Now my former roommate and friend died too

Killed by the police. Ultimately he brought it on himself and had a storied past regarding law enforcement and crime, but still it's got that surreal feeling to it knowing the person directly and though no longer really friends in the formal sense he was still certainly someone that I gave a shit about and certainly wouldn't expect this to have happened to them.
Pretty fucked up, and it's actually the 2nd person I know now, from a former treatment program, that has been killed by the same police department. In fact these two were both with me in treatment at the same time. That's some fucking crazy odds.
Anyway the story seems clear cut enough. He was supposed to have court today for a prior terrorizing thing with his dad, so I'm guessing he was just drunk as fuck which he's been known to be, and driving, and ultimately probably wouldn't even remember any of it had he woke up hungover earlier today.
Either way he certainly didn't have a bad heart or deserve to die. I don't know. Is what it is I guess.. -
