Being a catholic you accept that you live in a perpetual state of sin. -

Actually you cant. The bishop or rome is a cryptojedi hellbent on dismantling all the vatican has worked for. In any case, the bishop of rome would simply dismiss you as a moron and the 151st attendee of the First Council of Nicea would slap you like a bitch.Being a catholic you accept that you live in a perpetual state of sin.
No. It means you accept original sin and that you will of course fail to not sin. It does not mean that you are allowed to sin, or knowingly commit a sinful act or to conduct your life in a sinful manner only to expect the grace of God to let you pass through the gates of heaven because you say you believe in god, or went to church or took a sacrament. -

2016-10-28 at 6:09 PM UTCImagine a version of Jesus who instead of dying for our sins had to sin for our sins, attempting to lead the most debauched lifestyle imaginable and exceed the karmic impact of all the sins human beings had thus far, and possibly ever would, commit.
Man, this is a great idea for a manga, which could then be turned into an anime if it became popular enough and the concern for offending Christians didn't interfere with a release in Japan. -

This actually is rather interesting as a concept for something. I hate manga so I wouldnt care for it in that form but I also see where manga could give it a cool style. Idk man. Maybe I would read it. -

What about comics/graphic novels? Something reminiscent of the quality/level of depth and development of Watchmen (Hell, anything by Alan Moore. The graphic novels are immeasurably superior, don't judge the works based on the films.) or Preacher. I highly recommend Preacher, the style, hell, the people that produced it would be perfect for this. Most badass graphic novel I've ever read: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Preacher_(comics)
This would probably work much better.
Manga came to mind first because of how damn creative the Japanese can bee compared to the domination of superhero based comic books in the west. The art style can vary considerably, of course the traditional/commonplace style would be a very poor fit for this.
