I just figured out how to get over my fear of no tinder matches.

2018-02-26 at 8:38 AM UTCI'll set it to women AND men. Then when I match with guys, I can be like yayyyy... matches!

2018-02-26 at 8:47 AM UTCOK, so I totally understand why it's difficult to ask women out IRL, rejection is painful for sure. But it's like a social kind of pain. You ask a bitch out and she says no and now your friends know you were rejected, she knows, your value in the eyes of your peers is reduced. Primal social hierarchy worry response kicks in an evolution kicks you in the balls. Totally, I get it.
But that's exactly the problem tinder solves. Rejection is free, no one knows when you get turned down. You can go begging in the town square for sex without destroying your reputation. Tinder is a dream come true for those who fear rejection. So how can you be worried about not getting matches? What the hell? -

Eh, rejection for me is more than that. It's knowing that a girl said no to me... like I'm fucking worthless. "Go on a date to spend time with YOU? Ewwww!" It's why I never ask out girls. I've only asked out 2 in the past 10 years and they've both said yes thank god.
Just... psychologically knowing that no girls would match with me would really fuck with my mind. -

2018-02-26 at 9:04 AM UTCI don't know dude. I'm not offended by what cockroaches think of me, I just want them gone. They don't have the social substance required for their reaction to register as relevant. Then I'm a little perturbed if a stranger thinks I'm an asshole for some reason, but it's easy to brush off, that guys an asshole. Then there's the dude in my social circle who I don't really like be he's a friend's friend. I sorta want him to like me because I deal with him all the time but if he doesn't ok, kinda sucks but whatever. I'm hurt if my friend doesn't like me and heart broken if my lover loses interest.
Face it enter, you can only be wounded by what you care about. -
