If you actually think Friends was better than Seinfeld, then you're a woman or a male with low test.

    It was though. ?_?

Of course, neither can compare to Everybody Loves Raymond.

are u saying that as a joke?

everyone shits on everyboy loves raymond, but the characters were really good. people saw it as some cliche family sitcom, but it was actually a lot more.

seinfeld >>>>>> everybody loves raymond >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> friends

Jakes on you. Breaking bad went harder than both combined.

I was saying it half as a joke. I actually liked it a lot when I was younger, but yeah... it's a meme. The Nickelback of sitcoms.

Is How I Met Your Mother the 2000s equivalent of Friends? Because most women seem like both shows a lot.

was this a sneaky tactic to get me to agree with you, vizier?

I can't help but wonder if I didn't watch it as a kid, if I'd like it so much. It has a lot that I hate in a sitcom: long pauses for laughs, bitchy wife, the same plots over and over again.

Seinfeld though, I'm not biased. I never watched that as a kid.

I don't read most of your posts or watch sitcoms but sure, why not.

the fuck does not watching most sitcoms have anything to do with your argument, spic? If anything it defends my own, since you got the comparison from me.

ive said it before but it always bothered me how robert was a little bitch despite being a police officer

it's not like they forgot. he's wearing his "POLICE" shirt in that very scene! and yet a slight tumble stops him?

that's just one example of many, i dunno.

also if that scene was recreated in any other cliche family sitcom i'd think it was shit, but for some reason it's entertaining with those characters. bias or is there something special about ELR?

Why do you beta faggots always attach yourself to shit like TV shows and movies? It's one thing to like a character or a show or whatever, it's another to get emotionally attached to it. For example I always thought the character Captain Falcon was cool and made him my username, but I literally don't even use him in Melee any more.

Once I notice a laugh track it's over for me.

Curb your Enthusiasm at least doesn't have a laugh track.

When are the goyim going to make a decent sitcom?

Malcolm in the Middle was another show with no laugh track and it was pretty good and funny.

Pussy cops are a trope. See: Andy in Twin Peaks. Making him a little bitch subverts your expectations. Or something.

Did you see the new Twin Peaks? He's matured. Proud of him.

EDIT: Just realized him being matured was to subvert our expectations. Or something.

i can't enjoy a show because people are laughing!!! :( LOUD NOISES REEEEEEEE

i could understand that if it was an actual laugh track with the same annoying noise repeated (like big bang theory_, but it's literally an audience. there are times when the audience doesn't laugh, for example.

larry david even told the audience to tone it the fuck down at points (example: when kramer entered the room).

I think people hate the laugh-track/live studio audience because they realize that without they probably wouldn't be laughing. Because laughter is largely a social thing.

And if you realize you're only laughing because you can hear other people laughing... it kinda takes away from the joke.
