Quitting weed due to noticeable drop in IQ
-
2018-02-14 at 9:14 PM UTCI can't be the only one to have noticed a significant decline in cognitive functioning due to daily injecting of the marijuanas.
I don't even want to be high. I need to be high in order to go to sleep on time. Today is my first night going to sleep without plugging cannabis directly into my asshole.
I will be substituting the grass with 1x10mg diazepam and a glass of red wine. Tomorrow evening I will be drinking two glasses of red wine and the following evening one glass of red wine until I get used to sleeping alone without friends.
Has anybody else gotten back their sploo-level IQ after quitting the marijuanas? Since early last year 99% of my evenings have been spent high. I do not behave, speak or look like a stoner but I am worried this may be permanent. Haziness, below average memory, spending an extra second or two to recall a big word, pessimism, and dare I say mild paranoia. I did not even think about jedi over-representation in media,, politics and finance this time last year. Pls confirm that this is temporary pls -

Yes I do suffer intellectually from smoking weed, but I find this side effect goes away when I have a more regular intake. Note that I also take a hefty dose of memantine, and it's very likely that it's related. -

§m£ÂgØL made a thread recently about phenylpiracetam - I did a bunch of research and found some good value for money suppliers. I may begin to supplement with this nootropic. Do you have any experience with any racetams? -

Not with that particular racetam, but I've tried a lot of others. I find pramiracetam helps me focus without a stimulant effect. Noopept is fantastic in a lot of ways that remind me of piracetam, but I become enraged at the slightest provocation when I dose regularly. I didn't get anything out of oxiracetam or aniracetam. I'm currently taking 10g-15g piracetam daily, to which I respond very positively. Enhanced reasoning - especially verbal. Improvements in motivation and organization, and it helps me focus my creativity so that I'm actually following through on some of my ideas. I can't say enough good things about piracetam, really.
I might just have to give phenylpiracetam a try, after seeing how it's regarded by so many people here. -
2018-02-14 at 11:47 PM UTCdude i fuckin smoke hella weed everyday, pop benzos a lot of the time, dabble in hard drugs and also take psychs fairly regularly.
some days i feel like i'm getting "out there" like i've had too much or fucked myself up, but a few days of sobriety has me feeling back to normal
i remember during one summer break i binged the fuck out of 4f-mph, etiz and weed every goddamn day and during the peak of that my memory got scary bad, like you know when you walk into a room and forget why you walked there? it was like except it was happening like, all the fucking time. it got fixed though. but i also go 2 skool and exercise -

That sounds like a nightmare. I have only experienced this sort of confusion when mixing psychedelics with weed. -

I'm looking forward to popping some phenylpiracetam - I've only ever popped modafinil and ephedrine, if you can count those as cognitive enhancers. -

I love modafinil. I take it twice a week on nonconsecutive days, to avoid tolerance. I keep a journal around me at all times because I can't seem to stop writing on surfaces around me. Ephedrine, I don't care much for. -

Yea that was back in my more reckless days though. I wouldn’t have the time or resources to get myself to that state anymore (I have to do things during the day instead of just running around my apartment naked tweaking balls.
It was pretty scary when it happened though. I remember my gf started to notice and I’d try to hide it from her because I didn’t want her to think I had brain damage but it was impossible because I would just forget what I was doing/where I was going and just be forced to kinda stand there. I also tried to hide the fact that my eyes were jaundiced so she wouldn’t hound me about just continuing to binge. Stims make people do fucked up things if you use them enough. -
2018-02-15 at 12:29 AM UTCI become more productive and do much more and learn more when not using THC.

2018-02-15 at 12:33 AM UTCI highly recommend giving fasoracetam a try, it's my favorite racetam and there have been some very promising results for ADD. Take it sublingually, it's far more effective.
Phenylpiracetam doesn't last very wrong and there are issues with tolerance. It's definitely one of the strongest racetams, though. -
2018-02-15 at 12:43 AM UTCAre you guys really able to discern the effects of racetams and noopept so well? For me they were all no better than placebo, but it there were an effect from it, it would be so mild I would think I would be totally neutralized by a hit of weed.

2018-02-15 at 12:54 AM UTCI feel the same way, the vast majority of nootropics I've experimented with had no discernible effect. This is exactly what you should expect based on available studies.
Fasoracetam was different, but I genuinely have ADD. I don't how it'll affect you if you don't, but it could very well cancel out some of the deficits caused by drugs or increase your concentration if you're sober. -

Why do you prefer faso? -
2018-02-15 at 2:32 AM UTCThe effect and duration is better, tolerance doesn’t seem to be an issue, dosage required is lower if used sublingually (IIRC phenyl-p causes damage if used sublingually).
