Deepfakes are legitimately scary as fuck

The software is buggy but I have no doubt it can be fixed, and with some pro retouching, it could literally become indistinguishable from a real video. Videographic and photographic evidence is basically dead imo, there's no going back, we can't trust video any more.

2018-02-13 at 4:02 AM UTCI found out about this a couple weeks ago by stumbling on it thru reddit. Maybe in a couple years it'll render video evidence useless but right now you can still tell its been faked.

/r/deepfakes was banned recently. But as I said, running it through the app will not kill video evidence, but it does 90% of the work for you, a competent VFX artist or similar could make it almost impossible to tell. -

So what's the deal? It's just like video photoshooting clips of the person's face when they happen to making sex-type faces and then transposing those onto other female bodelies that are already fucking? Is there blowjob deepfakes? That would seem pretty difficult.
Again k don't really know what's going on with this. All those videos had very few views relatively speaking and no comments. -

Oh word, fuck me for skimming my bad. I only browsed it once and wasn't really impressed, shame its banned. I wanna say someone linked it in r/conspiracy because they had the exact concerns your voicing right now, I'm sure with enough money you could easily round up the skill and software required to touch up a video enough to make it nearly indistinguishable and ready for blackmail.
Hell, I bet they could at the very least do a good enough job that the scrutiny and dissection required to prove it a fake would take longer than the fire could spread, so to speak. We a dumb people. -
