Besides the whole, making ends meet thing.
I think its the fact that one day the world is going to destroy, that which is, their little angel or angels.
If I was a parent I would hold nothing back, so that way if their innocence (In every way) is to be taken, it would be taken little by little, and it would be by my hand in a much more kind and controlled manner through a sharing of knowledge and experience, of all kinds.
So that way, if something undesirable happens, they already knew there was the possibility of that happening, and instead of freaking the fuck out, like an idiot...
They'll just go, Okay, now I do this....
