Like I said before, this is what a real crash looks like. It's not dramatic, prices don't go from $100 to $1 overnight. They float lower, then rebound, then go lower, then rebound. Soon you're poor and wondering what happened.
no, thats not called crash, thats called slow fizzle into oblivion since the smart ones are able to get out in time.
a crash happens so fast that it caught everyone in it. -

If I dumped right now I'd be getting out just about even, maybe moderately in the black. The only people who would be making actual money would be the exchanges.
Maybe that is what the market is all about. The only ones who make money is the house.
Reminds me of a joke:
A guy goes to the beach and meets an Underwriter, a Stock Broker, and a Banker.
The Underwriter points to a boat and says "That my yacht, she's called Persephone and is 70'".
The Stock Broker points to a boat and says "That my yacht, she's called Athene and is 75'".
The Banker points to a boat and says "That's my yacht, she's called Poseidon and is 97'".
The guy is amazed and taken aback for a minute. He eventually says "so where are your customer's yachts?" -

no, its the one who peddled you their worthless hashes that they called ''crypto currencies''.
their the ones that you gave your IRL money in exchange for some worthless bits and bytes, and while you and countless of other people were buying, they were selling.Maybe that is what the market is all about. The only ones who make money is the house.

i thot the joke is when the banker points to all the yachts in the harbor and say that technically, they all are belong to him. -

This is literally all normal and has happened before. I don't expect it to get to where it was for several months at least. Could be longer even. Nov-Dec was an unusual period in that you could buy almost anything and make money. It'd be fucking stupid to expect that to continue forever.
There is also a dip at this same time every year. There's a reason for the whole hodl meme Lanny. As long as interest in crypto still exists, prices will continue to rise. There is nothing to crash like with the stock market. -
2018-01-31 at 2:01 PM UTCAlso the market is HEAVILY manipulated. It will be manipulated to rise again. Hopefully there are no regulations put in place on that because it'd deafen the hikes by a considerable amount. A US or EU regulation would be bad bones
Morally, i feel differently about this, but i have money invested so -

Stock market crash was in part due to companies 'promising' more production and growth than they could handle. It led to overproduction and a company that could not stand up to what shareholders expected. There is no production or company backing crypto. It is 100% based on interest, which is why the price fluctuates so much. -

For every seller there is a buyer. You can't sell without someone buying, so there will always be an equal number of buyers and sellers. Otherwise your transaction just won't go through.
