2018-01-29 at 2:59 AM UTCI can't really claim first hand knowledge but I've always been told bulging capacitors are bad and can lead to secondary damage if not dealt with. But I mean that's computer repair hobbyist scuttlebutt so take it with a grain of salt. I do know trying to replace them sounds like a bad idea. They're on the mobo right? Just shell out the bucks for a new one, if the rest of the build is old you won't need anything fancy or expensive. Better than rolling the dice on fucking your CPU or RAM to extend the life of a dying motherboard a little bit.

no, becos thatd be beta behavior.
a beta just bends over annd takes everything that destiny chooses to shove up its ass .... but an beta,
an beta would try to cut destiny down in its track and do everything in its ability to subvert destiny to the route of its own freewill like a freewilled person would. -

yes, i have the soldering iron and lead and a sucker.
the problem is to get the replacement caps. i wonder if its readily available in electronic shops in my area. becos getting them online is out of the question becos they'll ended up costing more. -
