It's all about sterile technique. If you are very careful and OCD about doing things exactly right it can be pretty easy, especially once you get the hang of it. For most people though it is beyond their skill level because most people are stupid and lazy and think they can take short cuts. I'm sure you're already using shroomery, check out mycotopia if you haven't already.

I've been on shroomery quit a bit.
I want to learn as much as possible before I give it a go.
Also thinking about a small clean room in my basement but Its hard to justify because I only want a small amount for personal use.
I have absolutely no intention of selling or even giving some away.
If I could buy some from someone I trusted I'd just buy them but no one I know ever has them.

A clean room is a bit excessive. Maintaining positive pressure is only one part of it. If you don't decontaminate yourself every time you enter then microorganisms are still going to get in. You can get by with smart HVAC design, a good HEPA enhancement, and an ozone box.

It’s easy as shit once you get the technique down. I did my first mobotub at 17/18 and autistically overthought it, as I tend to do. I didn’t need to read nearly as much as I did.
