   I know these are both different but I figured I'd combine the thread into one.
   
   So I just got a new job a couple of months ago that pays a lot more than retail(about a 40% pay increase) and has more paid holidays and paid time off and is sitting at a desk on the phone all day long(call center job) but I'm realizing that as I grow older I need more money to live the lifestyle I'd like to live.
   
   Anyways, I downloaded some videos and I'm going to be jumping into these two things while doing my day job.
   
   Any advice?

   Affiliate Marketing: Is basically collecting a small percentage of a sale if someone clicks one of my links and then buys something from a website.
   
   Drop Shipping: Is basically just buying items in bulk at wholesale price and then reselling at retail price.

    drop shipping you don't buy anything in bulk. you sell another companies products online and any orders you get you pass to the company who then send the product straight to your customer.
    
    it tends to be one of those things that can take years to build up to a point where you're even making anywhere near enough to live off, let alone do well with it. prolly need to keep up your day job but don't expect much time off.
