Whatever, it'll rise again probably. I think it'll rise high as fuck before it crashes completely. This isn't abnormal, I think it's just more severe than in the past because crypto got HUGE in Nov-Dec. Lotsa people started investing. -

I really think this isn't just a correction, but is the actual meltdown in cryptos. The South Koreans clearly aren't playing anymore, and their dumb money was what was keeping the whole market going. -

So what has to happen for you to admit your predictions about crypto are wrong? Not trying to be an ass, I'm just curious what you think a conservative lower bound on where one or more currencies are going to be fixed time frame. That estimate would be to be the least you'd need to have to make an informed investment in something. -

2018-01-17 at 1:33 AM UTCSomething you've got to keep in mind is coins in circulation. XRP has 38 billion, Bitcoin has 16.8 million. Of course XRP will have a massively lower price. Also XRP was premined AFAIK.
Similar thing with Cardano (26 billion) vs Quantum (74 million).
I used most of my Monero buying nicotine vapes from China just now. I made a modest amount on Monero - I got in at less than €200, they went to €500, and I sold at €250. Still have 1/3 a coin left - might donate the leftovers to weev or some other alt-righter who makes me laugh. Kicking myself for being so greedy and not getting out sooner though.
I've got some BAT (Basic Attention Tokens) and I'm holding the bag on those by about 1/3. Also some Cardano, and right now they're about what I paid for them. I'll probably just HODL them, and hope they explode some time in future.
We might see some sort of dead-cat bounce in this market in the next few days, and if I can get out I will.
Small sums of money, but it was a stressful and fun and educational experience.

Seems like it's basically an improved Monero. Monero has first mover advantage, but lacks a decent team and decent software. For instance I was stuck unable to transfer Monero out of the the only legit Android Wallet for Monero, Monerujo (freewallet is a scam), because it wouldn't let me use 64 character hex strings as payment IDs.
If they don't fix the problems with the Monero ecosystem, Monero could be vulnerable and could be easily replaced. It's say Sumocoin might probably one of the better investments right now. Price seems reasonable as well in view of volume.
Like I said, the time to hop in is at times like this, when everyone is running. There's always a bounce in the market sooner or later. -
