yeah but what he's getting at is you're still a "tourist" which you technically are.. But yeah I'm with you on just going and doing your own thing but a lot of people don't plan ahead or have family that live in certain places to show them around.
hell here even in austin they have a duck boat car that all the people get on and shows you the town while someone shouts on a megaphone. weird as hell
plus also when I was 16 my gf's mom bought my gf and I a guided tour of austin (even though I've lived here all my life) where we are supposed to ride around on those segways wearing knee pads and a helmet and looking like a total new fag. I didn't do it.. -

i hate beaches. their all the same. i spend half a day there and ill be red as an red indian by the end of the day,

yeah the whole wanderlust thing is kind of annoying but its just their way of showing that they want a guy into traveling as well.
