2018-01-14 at 11:17 PM UTCI've consumed 1600mg phenibut, 100mg modafinil, 200mg pramiracetam, 12g piracetam and three shots of espresso. I just took 200mg theanine to even things out. I'm thinking of going for another 100mg modafinil but must first drink more coffee.
What have you recently taken contrary to your better judgment? -

2018-01-15 at 6:51 AM UTCSo I've taken another ~75mg modafinil along with 1g tyrosine (expired tablets, need to get rid of them somehow) as a dopamine precursor, 100mg pramiracetam and 25mg memantine for tolerance to all of this shit. Feeling rather odd, but with excellent focus, and also I am very tired. Drinking lots of water, but it seems to never be enough...

My experience has been that modafinil is much gentler than amphetamines, a distinction which I attribute to its more localized mechanism of action as compared with the shotgun blast of dopamine produced from speedier molecules. -

Isn't Modafinil even more expensive than amphetamines though? I sleep excessively and have low motivation and concentration levels, so sometimes wonder if I'd benefit from a prescription.
I know Mike Enoch, who I greatly admire, says he has been flying on it the last 5 years or so. -

It's been about two years but I remember copping them for like $40 for 20/ct. or something like that. They were SunPharma brand in the foil packs. -

I am technically narcoleptic, so I have access to modafinil on my insurance for its primary indication. Luckily, it has been available by prescription in generic form in the US for some time now. If this were not the case, I would absolutely not bother with it. -
