2016-10-03 at 12:03 PM UTCPretty much 8chan, boards that can be readily created by anyone with their own set of rules, other than those that have to be abided by to maintain the website due to statist policies in order to maintain the website (software like TOR, or, better yet, decentralized mechanisms, can rectify this), competing for users who can leave freely. Those who want a modded board can, those who don't can as well; products marketed to the different demands of consumers, who each have different views, see different benefits and flaws, and make their decisions on their perceptions of net gain. If one seems to do better, possibly demonstrated that their fears were unfounded (Analogous to states legalizing cannabis and the subsequent demonstration that the streets did not in fact run red with blood), they can migrate/choose to consume differently.
Amusingly, this is somewhat analogous to how an anarcho-capitalist society would function. There can be private markets for law/regulation. Wouldn't it be interesting if governments competed for citizens who had free movement? -

Exactly, and yes, it would be interesting to see governments having to compete for their citizens. -

Yeah man, I shut down dissenting opinions using coercive force at every opportunity. Don't say things I don't agree with, totally words I live by -

2016-10-03 at 10:22 PM UTCIf he was a Nazi mod, why would he then open a forum where there are basically no rules?

Easy answer: guilt complex. -

I mildly suspect Lanny may be turning over some information to law enforcement. I've noticed a few odd quirks about this website.
Sophie/Spectral, you should hack this site, just in case. Considering how poorly built it appears to be, it should be doable, and if you find that security happens to be unusually strong, that will tell us something valuable as well. -

Lanny gave psychomanthis elevated server access, and it's psychomanthis who has been creating those "quirks". So he's less like a rat and more like a sellout. -
2016-10-04 at 1:11 AM UTC*gasp*!
I wonder if he's been installing safeguards to protect his CP ring. Lanny could be in on it as well, perverts tend to have multiple fetishes, often advance to more hardcore subjects once the taboo wears off, their dopaminergic system equilibrates to the greater stimuli. We already know he's sexually aroused by impersonating women and seducing men online, likely having had them expose themselves and saved the pics/vids o his collection, as well as crossdressing, homosexuality (No, really, he admitted to masturbating to gay erotica and porn.), and voyeurism (I still remember that time I found that porn thread by you that you tried to delete, google fortunately having cached it!); it isn't that much of a stretch to believe that he moved on to CP. -
2016-10-04 at 1:33 AM UTCbtw guys, I get a massive hardon when people talk about me on the internet too. I'm gonna to jizz in my pants at this rate.

Let me just say that Lanny should consider patching. There's a code execution vulnerability in the vB_Api_Hook::decodeArguments method and SQL injection vulnerability via the criteria[startswith] parameter to ajax/render/memberlist_items. And i am pretty sure there was an XSS as well in the folderid parameter to a private message in privatemessage/view. -
