I think the smart contracts have already proven themselves. XRP stayed pretty steady when everything else was dropping like mad last week. -

Honestly I give zero fucks about the bank thing. Nobody will ever take power from the banks. Ripple was BOUND to happen and crypto as a whole will either die out or get absorbed by banks. People LIKE banks. They trust banks. Banks are reliable in ways that Chinese altcoin exchanges are not. -
2018-01-04 at 4:46 PM UTC$3+ now. I also got in with Cardano and TRON at .50 and .03 so that's pretty nice. Waiting on an ETH transfer so I can put some more into something. Not sure what yet. TRON seems like a good choice tho since it's still very very low. Honestly didn't think it'd jump up this quickly but it's at #9 in the market cap ranking, about to overtake Litecoin which is insane. RIP litecoin.

Kind of a shitty one to invest in also since it's already so expensive.
