   The problem is technology is advancing so rapidly that we're sort of in between generations. The Internet was just beginning to grow as a thing, but most of us still had dial-up when we were younger, and certainly not portable Internet in our pockets nor the countless narcissistic forms of social media these kids grow up with nowadays from day one.
   
   I actually read an article about this a while back. Generational differences are occuring much more quickly and aren't really being accounted for yet. We're a lost generation.
