With the recent crypto hype it's a reasonable gamble that every crypto currency is going to go up. But at some point they're not, so the game is to jump ship before that point. I sincerely wish you the best of luck in making money and cashing out at the appropriate time.
And that's a reasonable position, AHC is a terrifying and byzantine thing. But my point is that it's not like every major bank was walking down the street and met the AHC spokesperson and decided that's what we were all going to do over lunch. Systems that serve the financial industry grow to become slow, with tremendous bureaucracy and warts and a certain degree of inefficiency because that's what the FI does to systems. Inherently, to achieve adoption, systems acquire these qualities.
Obviously. This is basically an Internet gold rush. Nowhere near as safe as like, buying stock in energy. It'll plunge eventually but that's why you've got to play it safe. I made 200 in LTC (bought @100, sold @300) and I just took out my earnings to help cover some of my investments. I'm hoping that I'll be able to take out enough to cover my total investment, then everything from there will just be pure safe profit. I don't think I'm playing things too dangerously doing this, especially by moving over to XRP. Seems reasonable to me that it'll hit at least a few dollars worth before crashing, at which point I can go as planned and move onto pure profit. -
2017-12-14 at 11:38 PM UTCWe should collab and launch a coin basically for my idea (supply chain auditing, control and payments using blockchain technology) with a huge premine and make $$$.

2017-12-15 at 5:30 AM UTCYou need ID for most western based sites. It's a process to get verified. For xrp tho you can use binance and purchase up to 2btc worth without id, only catch is you have to use crypto to buy it and idk any legit sites that accept unverified card. I transfer from coinbase to gdax to binance. It's kind of a bitch

You're goddamn right about that. Still, there is (was?) a good amount of money to be made in the short term, and as a poor, oppressed white male I can't pass up the opportunity to potentially triple my net worth in less than a year.
It feels pretty bad though. Crypto-mania has slowed the bitcoin core network to a crawl and ruined its usability as a currency, with transaction fees now averaging more than $20 and confirmations taking hours, even days if you lower the fees to a reasonable amount. Payment gateways like BitPay and darknet markets are going to have to implement support for another coin very soon, otherwise they'll lose a huge number of users.
I'll be getting out sometime in 2018, keeping whatever coin DNMs switch to for payment (probably bitcoin cash or monero), and then I hope the whole thing just crashes and burns so we can go back to the days when bitcoin was the underground currency of the internet, before hordes of normie retards with literally zero understanding of blockchain, money and economics jumped in hoping to get rich quick, with bankers now getting involved (there are literally bitcoin futures markets opening up as we speak, lul).
The whole thing is fueled by an uholy blend of delusion and market manipulation. Cryptocurrencies are fundamentally incapable of scaling to the level of a global money system without losing the properties that make them desirable in the first place (decentralized, unregulated, cheap, fast). Yet the cryptocurrency boards, which used to focus primarily on technical discussion, are now filled with amateur investors and true believers who think bitcoin is just going to keep appreciating until it breaches the market cap of gold, then the entire US GDP, etc.. Anyone with half a brain could tell you that long term bitcoin holders are much, much more likely to end up with a bag of worthless tulips than a lambo, yet there are people taking out loans and using credit cards to buy in at bitcoin's all time USD high.
A bloodbath is coming, possibly soon if the shady as fuck USD tether printing turns out to be a scam. And I will rejoice, even if I end up losing some money.
