Nope, it would be stupid. For it to be useful I'd have to store private keys to do the decryption, which would defeat the whole purpose of encrypting them in the first place. You should distribute keys and use PGP, encryption is useless if the service you're trying to keep in the dark about message contents (me in this case) ever has access to private keys. Also keep in the mind it's not hard to MitM someone if they're distributing public keys via something like PM which is trivial to manipulate.

An "open source web service" is bullshit, you have zero guarantee the code that's being run on someone's server is the same code you can audit the source of. As a security measure open source is meaningless if you don't control the hardware the code runs on, which shit, no one with a modern intel CPU does anymore anyway.
