some people like to look at the bigger picture and not just day to day. But I will agree that worry about who the prez is going to be and getting triggered by it is a waste of time because the plight of america is already heading in a certain direction regardless.
but on a more local level i'm sure it would affectyour day to day life more profoundly. -
2017-12-05 at 4:33 PM UTCI never have in all honesty. I didn't even know trump won the presidency until the next day because a black friend told me because he was angry about it LOL.

2017-12-05 at 4:44 PM UTCColin Kapernick as an American has the right to kneel down if he chose to. Perhaps not popular in all the eyes but still had the right.
I don't think he was disrespecting America or what it has offered him the chance to show his skills and be paid well for it. It was just his protest against what he saw as a contradiction in placing his hand over his heart during the ceremonial American pledge.
I'm sure he loves this country greatly.
He if doesn't than he is the hypocrite. -
2017-12-05 at 4:46 PM UTCI want to say that It was real moving to me what John F Kennedy said regarding NOT What our country can do for us, but we should believe "What can I do for my country".
But then they shot that Nigga and probably tripled our taxes since then and 100 fold in debt with nothing to show for it.
...So! -

''what can we do for our country'' is the mantra of communism and socialism where and when the means of production belonged to the country and you have to produce ... for its behalf.
the spirit of a free and democratic nation should be that an expecting society of ''what their country can do for them'' in exchange for their votes and mandates.
if you would like to do something for your country ... feel free to move to a communist country and do as much as you please for it. -

Doesn't mean he gets to escape the consequences
To me it's roughly equivalent to the fucktard that yelled "black lives matter" during the moment of silence at the DNC convention; sure, you have the right to do it, but it's immensely disrespectful, and you should be thankful that you live in a country that you don't get arrested for such things.

Little Kim Un would try to have me killed because he knows I would take control of that shit!
I would close down the nuclear plants and have my hoard of beautiful fans follow me day and night (unless I chose privacy)
I would spend money in the infrastructure to build high rise, Hyponic Farms to grow veggies.. especially tomatoes because they and noodles can feed many. and bean sprouts and soy beans and peppers and bell peppers and potatoes. all of these are easily grown foods even in cold climates with at least sun. especially in my highrise farm houses.
then I would legalize pot and tell people "You can't be in my army unless you know how to party"
once they all chilled out, I would open the border and say.. those who want to stay in my commie utopia, do so. those who don't and want to leave.. there is the door. -

Oh blah. "Immensely disrespectful." Really M8? Meanwhile those complaining don't know will wear their hats during the song or yell 'Home of the... *their team name*' at the end of the song.
I know both sides are pretty clear in their argument at this point but Jesus Christ, he ain't kneeling because he hates America. He hates parts of it. Apparently so does everyone who wants to "make America great again." I mean, how disrespectful is that?? Make AMERICA great AGAIN? Motherfuckers don't think it's great already?? DISRESPECTFUL!!!! -

could not possibly give a fuck about any political situations, never watch the news, why would i knowingly engage in the disinformation war over human minds? any viewpoint you engage in will have you brainwashed to some extent so it's better to be passive and only deal with your own circumstances rather than obsess over abstract properties of populations and leaders and the human condition
Unless you can get insider knowledge and try to awaken the sheeple who gobble down CNN's cocks.
