   the brown stuff in europe is the number 3 heroin freebase from afganistan. its cut with caffeine to make it run on the foil. in se asia they make the number 4 which is hydrochloride, its water soluble which means it doesn't need citric to dissolve. better for cooking up and snorting. its what they mostly get in the states which is why most american users inject or insufflate heroin.
