Graduating in a couple of months and have been interested in psychedelics for a while. Should I take acid or shrooms?
Also, I have so mild to sometimes severe anxiety (I bite my nails down to stubs) would this affect my trip?

Id start with a small dose of schrooms, that has been my best experience with psychedelics. You shouldn't trip balls at first you should just get a little buzz and find out if you like it or not. You can keep some xanax or klonopin on hand and take them if your not enjoying yourself. A half of an eight of schrooms has been my best experience because I don't enjoy tripping ballz and just want to get a little buzz with a few hallucinations. Also if you do trip balls and you hate it you can take seroquil or a similar medication and your trip will end.

I dunno man, its really up to you to experiment, I've been tripping off and on for 16 years and I used to prefer acid more than shrooms because shrooms bogged me down, but If im in a room just laying down listening to music I don't mind the shrooms but one thing I'll let you know about about psychedelics is they don't mix well with being an alcoholic.

summer 2016 I was constantly drinking and then withdrawing and taking taking all those weird "acid like" 3cpo rc's and it made my stomach churn to the point where I was bad tripping because of the pain/nausea.

This girl that lives down the st from me would give me gel capsules with stuff in them and I'd take them and I tripped hard and kind of had fun but definitely freaked out severely because of my stomach hurting.

I took acid at a slipknot concert back in august 2016 and had a good time, but after the show all I wanted to do was have a brew and I did and felt 10 times better.

I'd say acid. I think the acid visuals are less "subtle", first time I took shrooms I was hallucinating but it wasn't immediately obvious "hey, this is a because I took those drugs" and it freaked me out a bit. With acid it was patterns and rainbows and shit and it was pretty obvious what was and wasn't there.

But I mean the two are pretty similar, set and setting make more of a difference than which of the two you take. Whatever you can get a hold of.

weird I actually get heavier visuals on shrooms but I think I see what you're saying where its more mental/3rd eye kind of thing. It's like apples and oranges but I prefer the cid too as I feel more out and about and want to drive/ go to shows and more social.

the first time I ever took shrooms when I was 14 all the branches and leaves on the trees by the lake looked like liserds hanging from nooses.

really my favorite psychedelic is xtc though

Thanks to everyone, 90% sure I'm going to take a mid-high dosage of shrooms. (maybe a gram over an eigth?)
Should I take more or less?
I'm looking for a somewhat intense visual enhancement but not too overwhelming.

I've never tried shrooms

last time I tried acid me and a friend threw a bunch of old furniture off of the balcony of his third-floor apartment because he didn't want it anymore, then he freaked out about getting caught and decided to call the cops and say that he thought the apartment above him was throwing things out

I always found shrooms to be a little more... mentally foggy than acid. If you have no experience with any psychedelic substance I would really recommend planning 2 trips... the first one more to get your feet wet with a lower dosage.

If intense visuals are what you want a higher dose will be required but just remember that your thought process will become more and more disorganized along with it.

The difference between the two is subtle and there's no way for you to know which you prefer until you do them both

I've always felt like there is more confusion with shrooms as opposed to acid which gives me more of a clear headspace

I can't even elaborate on my epiphanies on shrooms without sounding like a fucking dumb monkey

kinda thisbut i wouldnt say they are subtle its like apples n mangos, shrooms make me feel like im drunk and has a heavy body load, acid I feel fairly sped up, probably because all the tabs these days are laced with meth. lol jk
