There is miles of coal tunnels in the hills of Pittsburg California called "Black Diamond Mines"
but I think some inside group has already stored years of survival food, so they probably will block others from joining in end tiemz
So I found this perfect spot in the hills near us. I just need to find an ogger big enough to bore a hole in the side of it a half mile off of the main trail. there is a water source (creek)
Sneak in at night, and bore a hole and then dig out a big ass shelter. fill it with some 4x4 to make a load barring beam in case it caves in.. but circular shapes usually keep it from caving in.
I'm not a construction guy really.. but I would create a fake seal for the entrance and like make it blend into the mud/dirt. I will be like one of those tralanchulas that spring out at ya. not really
