2017-11-11 at 10:55 PM UTCSo you nerdy computer types, clearly with some hacking skills, have never played D&D before?
Even I played a little bit.. way way back. I just forget how the game works so I might as well see it as never played before myself... I think it's a hit/point system? but it was like cosplay. and then something like it as a dialup/ roll and wait a day or hours until others took turns. slow but interesting. remember shit like LORD on the menu. or uhh what was the gangster one? sell drugs, do hits. like a crude ANSI ACSII whatever codey art of a dude chasing someone in a moving ansi like art.. then he shoots, you shoot back.. who ever does the most damage kills the other? take all their shit? like a crude form of GTA -

I liked the Icewind Dale games but the modified AD&D rules to make it sorta balanced for real time play were clunky as hell. While fallout's turn based system isn't exactly uber exciting fast paced action it would have been a better style for follow IMO. -
