working on the technique before going back to filming in front of a greenscreen we have set up

input on the quality of this in your opinion. Films you may know of "Rotoscoping are Cool World, Wizards, Coonskin and many Disney films that Ralph Bakshi and others may have worked on

Dude, Was that your youtube post about making plastic keys from tape and smoke residue?

I think all these illegal Hack DIY videos come at me on purpose and not by real suggestive use

But I'll fucking watch them then masturbate on it afterwards. whatever that means

Also, I didn't notice it before.. this is a good loop video. it's fairly smooth, I didn't even try and do this. I just edit it down to size for the test

imagine that.. it's JJ 4gifs quality

So what they did was use what's called a lightbox, and a tracer table mounted on the front, and they would project each film cell (24 frames a second) and painstakenly paint each live character with paint.. creating a cartooning effect. it was thought of being easier than hand sketching and sending it to the "womans department" (Women Painted, Men Sketched or Drew at Disney)

So in the 1970s, Ralph Bakshi, A Well known cartoonist from Disney, decided he wanted to do another rotoscope but knew it was too expensive to use disney's method which cost 3 dollars per frame. he got Xerox to use one of their scanners projectors to a lightbox table, and he instead used acetate film (the clear 8x11 inch sheets you can print on) which was 1/100th the cost, and made the first independent Rotoscope in 1977 called "Wizards"
