I recommend the 2 babylons by alexander hislop as a study into how they tricked us all. And the bee thing mention is from the chaldea word mirir or something like that which means word. word of god. In the beginning there was the word and the word was god. Then the word created the heavens first and then the earth. Find logic and sense in the arrangement of these creations. The babylonians are not merely and solely the phoenicians. They span across cultures, across times and they are all connected to the same deity. Nimrod who was their messiah, the anticrist. Read the book and see the connections. Its old and from 1853 I believe and the writing a little difficult to read, yet it without doubt proves all these connections and demystifies the mystery babylon the great.

Finished Animal Farm just now. I really liked it. Don't know why Lanny doesn't like it. Now I'm looking up the history of the Russian revolution and all that. Pretty interesting.

Very poorly written all the books mentioned in this thread. SERIOUSLY just very poor writing. Very amateur and poor. Talk to me when you want to read books that aren't poorly written by amateurs. What a joke. POOR WRITING THREAD this should be called. JESUS FUCK.

I think the animal proxy bullshit narrative is fucking gay as hell, while Vonnegut has plenty of wit and none of the pretentious allegory.

Tiger got to hunt, bird got to fly;
Man got to sit and wonder 'why, why, why?'
Tiger got to sleep, bird got to land;
Man got to tell himself he understand.

I'd guess the fact that it doesn't fairly represent the idea it's attacking, plus the writing itself.
