I was feeling so good about myself, but now I'm depressed as fuck.

So it turns out she was just going out with that fat balding guy as a friend. Obviously he liked her, but it wasn't a date. He just asked her as a friend coz he was too pussy to ask her out properly.
Anyway, so it turns out she was sad as fuck that I canceled, and it turned out she actually liked me. And not only that, but I was the first guy she said yes to as a date since her last relationship ended. She was finally ready to open up to a guy, and it was me, and I canceled.
She's gone around and complained about me to everyone, calling me an asshole.
God, all my fucking self confidence issues. They're all in my head. I overreact to everything. Why do I think girls don't like me? Of course they like me. I've had a girlfriend before who was in LOVE with me.
I've got a lot of growing up to do.

I'm not going on the date now. I need to make her feel as bad as me.
What is a reason to cancel the date that will make her feel bad?
First of all, how did you find out about the other date she had with this fat, bald man, who's probably gonna fuck the girl you like? Are you internet spying? Talking to her friends? Either way seems weird that you know about it unless she told you which is rude imo. Some people may look at it as her being honest but if you guys are only going on your first date then I see no reason why she had to tell you about her other date plans with apparently gross men. kind of an asshole move on her part. (that's if she told you).
Your reaction seems quite childish tbh. You caring so much about a girl that you haven't even been on one date with is bizarre to me. I guess some people catch feelings faster than others though.
If you want to make her feel bad make her find out in a way with out directly telling her that you think she's either fat or ugly, or something really vulgar. Or tell fat guy who is bald she has herpes.
But really looking back at the situation I don't see why you are so mad....at least with that other guy's story, the bitch had planned the dates on same day, that's rude and disrespectful imo. But this girl, just seemed like she went on another date at some point, you guys aren't bf and gf, so I guess I just don't see what the big deal is. You probably should have gone on the date and tried to woo her cuz she might have just gone out with fat guy for A) felt bad for him B ) she actually didn't and somebody lied to you C ) they're just friends, at least in her eyes D) He asked her and she's not a total asshole and thought she'd give this a guy a chance, if he was polite, kind, maybe even funny then why do looks matter so much? Typical slut. I've met many of those types. One of them tried scheduling me and another guy on the same day, so I stood her up. You should arrange the date in a place far away and do the same. Just make sure you take a selfie of yourself in the car in case she asks for a pic to make sure you're on your way there. And if she asks why travel so far, just say "I've always wanted to go to this place, but had no one to go with". Once she's there, keep telling her that traffic is a bitch and try to keep her waiting for at least an hour for teh lulz. Also inform the fat nerd about her sluttiness just in case he has any standards. You never know.
To be fair, a woman who goes on date with someone one night, then another guy another night, if no sexual escapades take place on either occasion, then I don't believe it is justified to deem the woman in question a "slut". However, in your case, the planning 2 dates on same day, that girl sounds like a slut. In fact a slut and a bitch, because that is so rude. I'm sorry you had to deal with a woman so stuck up her own ass that she can't even pick a different day of the week to screw a different guy. I guess she's on some special diet plan where she needs at least 2 dicks a day to keep the dr. away. -
