We should have a D&D thread.

2017-11-10 at 4:37 AM UTCGames People Play is where to discuss personal computer, video game console, and arcade hardware and software - be it RPG, Sim, Strategy, Fighting, Action/Platform, or any other category. Although discussion of modern platforms/software will most likely dominate, discussion of classic videogame/computer hardware and software is always enjoyable, and certainly welcome
k i read the descrip and it seems like d n d is an rpg, its strategic, and about action and fighting and you are playing it on a computer, it belongs in the "games people play" thread. -

Nah.
When you're arrested, you're charged with a crime. You're only convicted if you plead or are found guilty. I definitely know this from multiple experiences with the legal system. Plus I just Googled it. -
2017-11-10 at 4:39 AM UTCit's more because it's not discussing a game so much as it is organising it, so maybe suggestions or something would make sense
regardless it doesn't really matter, you got told off for not ever posting threads in appropriate forums, not just once or twice when the topic was ambiguous -

See bolded section. The part of that sentence after the hyphen is just listing specific examples of different games, but they still have to be computer, console, or arcade software/hardware. This really isn't that difficult. -

2017-11-10 at 4:44 AM UTCI'm totally gonna be the Gnome Illusionist. That's the race and class I beat Baldur's Gate II with.

it wasn't intentional to disrupt it, I just mentioned that its not an sg thread and I had op agree with me.
And if everyone got banned for "disrupting" threads then everyone on this forum would be banned -

fuck gnomes. I played necromancer for a while but I found those specific magic schools to be too restrictive for the benefits in terms of not being able to use spells from the opposite school
I liked Sword Saint, two long swords and no pants, but I got 1-hit-rekt a lot -
2017-11-10 at 4:48 AM UTCThen again, I'd be interested in RPing a crafty little dude.
-
2017-11-10 at 4:50 AM UTCwell I want to play and I want to be an alien character.
but this still needs to be moved to a different forum or else its going to turn into the retarded thread 4.0 -
2017-11-10 at 4:52 AM UTCcan a gnome be a sword saint? pretty sure it was greyed out in BG2 but it'd be amusing

Ah it's just one school. And don't you get an extra spell per day of your school or some shit? Actually I'm thinking of Baldur's Gate rules which is AD&D; I don't know how it is in 5th edition. I don'tnt think they kept the restriction on using spells from the opposite school, actually.
