What is the upkeep costs of owning 10 domains/URL's? Per year?. I'm thinking about purchasing a bunch and redirecting them to here.
All in all, (minus cost of the domains of course) how much money will this cost me in the long run? (5 years if I'm alive that long)

It depends on the domain name and hosting provider, in general i'd say expect to pay a couple bucks per domain per month for hosting.

You threw me off by saying minus the cost of the domains. If all you want to is redirect or forward the domain traffic to NIS, then you don't need a hosting plan. You can do it with just a domain, so domain cost is all you would have.
Look around at sites like GoDaddy. They have deals for the initial registration, and then it should be less than $10/year for your domain. Multiply by your 10 domains, and you're looking at $70-$100 per year.
Again, don't get a hosting plan if you are just domain forwarding.

Fuck someone already registered triangl.es okay which one of you was it. I have to buy a few domains off people and it's looking like it's gonna cost me a lot of upfront. I don't mind paying up the ass for them but long term maintenance is not my strong suit.
$100/yr sounds affordable to me though.

Everyone here should buy a domain so..... we'd still only have 10 redirecting here
