i just invented this
a social phenomena where people dramatically shape their worldviews against certain perceived injustices to support their inner secure feelings of gnosis
for example: "weed probably kills less people than alcohol, it should be unbanned"
through the special snowflake sploo effect enhancement: "weed is banned so that alcohol can poison our people and alcohol kills more than any other drug combined and it sickens me that the corporate big wigs are making profits off the ingestions of harmful toxins #legalizeweed2017"

aldra without sploo effect "some jedis are greedy and corrupt"
aldra with sploo effect "the jedis are trying to take over the world and i am here to stop them"

i guess fanaticism is a synonym maybe, but this is more like the process in which someone slowly becomes a fanatic, by hyperfocusing on certain cultural issues to the point of myopia and the eradication of these issues is "destiny"

JIDF Controlled Opposition
victim complex - paranoia - hero syndrome
or some combination of the three? the first and second being the idea that bad things are happening or will happen to you, the last being the idea that you're the only one that can stop them

victim complex over "real" things to the point of paranoia which causes the individual to construct their whole identity over it through a process of self-induced brainwashing
like the radical feminists. men are misogynistic, but then this misogyny becomes an obsession and threats are perceived even when there isnt one, and they continually subject themselves to materials to further the belief in some weird type of martyr until the original personality no longer exists and they basically caused themselves to become a slave to a particular concept

like lets say people who are in cults are in "cults of personality" with central leaders
someone with a self induced sploo effect is in a "cult of concepts" with their own mind as the leader
