Can you roll your r's? Or do the Asian L's?

   I can do the r's because Mexican. Girls love it. I make sure to roll it a bit.
   
   I can't do the Asian L's however. If you haven't studied an Asian language you probably just think it's like an R but it's different. It's done with the tongue curled at the front of the mouth and English doesn't really have that movement. It's similar to how you do the rolled r except instead of flicking you just hold it, which sounds easy but whenever I do it I just sound like I've got a cock in my mouth.

    Defo can not, I always just pronounce it as a standard "r" sound except for in the case of the Japanese "り", which seems to be idiomatically unpronounced or treated as a pause as often as it forms an actual syllable. It doesn't sound great but people can understand it.
