I really don't understand how they can ever bust someone for prostitution unless they have audio or video recording of them saying I'll fuck you for money.
Just like an escort service, I am paying for you to be my friend, and you are coming to be my friend, that's it. If we then decide oh hey, we should PLOW too, well, that's between us. The money was just to be friends.
How in the fuck does that defense not work? Even if it's obvious what was really going on, the burden of proof is on the prosecution, and there's no way to prove the payment was explicitly for sexy times.

they still have to prove you solicited them. that would generally come in the form of a recording of you offering them money for sex. so don't say those two things in the same sentence. you're arranging an escort for a certain period of time, you don't need to mention any sex within that discussion. if she was a cop you'd soon know if they started baiting you to say something along those lines. with a genuine prostitute she will know that its already implied, she knows what you want and wouldn't bring that into the discussion while the money is being discussed, because she would be putting herself on offer otherwise. if you're really worried then wait till she's naked and have a feel of her pussy before you start telling her what you want. no U/C would be allowed to let you do that to her.

You guys must be very bad criminals if you think that defense will fly. Using backpage to hire women for 'time' in and of itself is pretty incriminating. If your defense worked, NOBODY would get arrested for prostitution online ever. Do you think that you are the only ones to think of this defense? It doesn't work.
