Also, second bar had friendlier service but when I tried talking to the guy next to me about his beer, he ignored me. I don't think he heard me though.
I've noticed that there are people alone that drink and play on their phones, and there are those who are out with family/friends in groups. I really don't want to just drink alone. I really don't even like drinking anymore. I don't know what to do.
I'm going to drink a Red Bull, go find somewhere to piss, and go to a strip club.
My phone is at 2% battery. -

They will actively try to hurt you for being in the slightest bit different. People are scum. People who are "liked" are people who are respected and who the pathetic can expect help from. Nobody liked anybody. Everyone is shit. Don't let yourself be deceived. Respect is just a measure of how much gain a person can exploit from you.

2017-10-08 at 9:18 AM UTCI've actually been trying to be a better person. Hoping it'll pay off. But as time goes by I'm losing hope. It makes me want to veer back into the life I use to live. The problem I that every time I go back, I'm worse. I'm not sure how bad I can become. Things I said I'd never do when I was younger, I've done more than I can count.
I'm tired of this cycle.
I'll give it a couple of years. I want to make sure this time. -

Where do you live? I'll give you specific advice on that basis (or if you're not comfortable saying, follow my general advice below).
This is typical advice but you have to work on being an interesting person and you'll make genuine friends in the process.
Do you have any hobbies? If not, you need to find something that isn't sitting at a bar and watching a TV. Perhaps something has tainted those people at the bar
How is your personal hygiene and grooming? Do you shower regularly? PM me pics of yourself, I'll tell you if you look weird or something. -

My personal hygiene is good, except for my bad breath(but I've been chewing sugar-free gum and using mints). I shower at least once a day(usually twice), and wear deodorant. I shave my face and head regularly. I am 5'11" and weight around 155lbs and have a slight build. I currently have some loose skin due to dropping down from 185 pure fat. My teeth are straight.
I had a co-worker say about a week ago that I'm handsome and perfect.
Hobbies include hiking, mountain biking, computers. I plan on getting into winter sports.
I think Sophie may be correct. I may have some serious socializing issues. Ever since a young age, I have never really had a group of friends aside from people that were criminal connections(usually drugs). I was never close to my parents. The only brother I spent time with taught me how to steal and commit crimes without getting caught.

Another city would be a big move, maybe if you can't fix stuff here. But for a start, doing other shit could help. You could take up frisbee golf or something, try to make some friends there. You need to meet new people. You could take a night class at your local college.
One important thing is not to be weird. That's tough when you don't know what weird is but like, you gotta figure it out. Talking to people like a normal person goes a long way. Make small talk. Don't talk about crude shit. Be interested in THEM, rather than yourself, but be interesting enough to where you can relate your own experiences to them, but without showing them up all the time.
It's not really hard to be charismatic, but people have a hard time with it for some reason.
If you want to talk to a girl, asking them about themselves is a big deal. Sometimes I'll pick out a detail, such as their necklace or earrings, and ask them about it. It's nice, why'd you pick that one? Where'd you get it? Is blue a favourite colour of yours? It looks good on you.
But mainly, wear a smile, don't be malicious or an asshole, and be interested. And don't stop trying.
