Learning through LSD
-
2017-10-05 at 8:23 AM UTCI feel like when I take LSD, new information comes beyond easy to me. Like it's the perfect study drug. If I were locked into a library for a whole month with a sheet of acid I feel like I could learn a whole lot. When I want to learn something new, I know by default I'm going to need drugs. Who the fuck cleans without getting fucked up first? Civilized people, but I am not a civilized people. Is it odd that I prefer LSD over meth, cocaine, or any other stimulant to be productive? Don't get me wrong, I love meth, but meth boosts my concentration. Not my interest. Acid on the other hand makes me put pride into whatever the fuck it is I'm doing. Even if it's just laying on the floor and listening to music, I feel like I'm getting shit done. I could get fucked up on meth for a night and get a lot of important things done, but I don't feel like a better person or like I've accomplished anything. I'm still me, world famous carpet surfer of doom. But when I trip I feel like I know myself, and the world better. Like everything belongs and fits perfectly in place, perfect harmony and peace. Is it dysfunctional that I go to psychedelics when I need help? If it works for me that should be good enough I guess, I'm just scared I sound like a fucking dipshit.

2017-10-05 at 8:26 AM UTCAre you familiar with micro-dosing? Take some acid and get familiar with it. :)

2017-10-05 at 8:32 AM UTCI really want to try micro-dosing. I just have a hard time getting ahold of good LSD, or LSD at all.

Well if you can, it's something to consider. It takes discipline in a way, but it's essentially like taking lsd as a man takes coffee. Your experience won't necessarily be noticeable to anyone else throughout the day, but what you're personally experiencing, and much superior to caffeine, is just a better, more unique, nice feeling to your every action and interaction throughout the day.
This is being literally utilized by professionals in their respective industries, though of course by a small minority and certainly not advocated by these individual's employers, necessarily.
Either way it's interesting enough and something to consider if the means to do so are available. -

I kind of doubt that many people are actually microdosing. I think it just gets a lot of attention because people find it bizarre that people would take small amounts of LSD before work. I've yet to see anyone see any benefit from it though. The ones that write about it seem like they're full of shit kind of. -

You don't sound like a fucking dipshit, I actually envy you. I'm afraid of taking LSD again because I don't want to lose my grip on reality and go permanently gaga. -

when you say "lose my grip on reality" i think you really mean "lose my grip on this tenuous bullshit belief system i've built up because it can't possibly stand up to rational criticism" -

I think I'd be okay if I just took 2cb or something. I used to have acid trips where I'd leave time and space. There's no way I could do those again.
