space buckets

  1. #1
Anyone ever heard of space buckets? I built this simple one when I was fucked up on opiates and grew a pepper plant in it, hopefully it starts fruiting soon. The light bulb was originally on the lowest rung but as the plant grew it started to crisp the top of it so I made more holes to gradually move it up to. I keep it in a little closet like thing because the rest of my house is cooler and peppers need hot weather.

My next step is to take LED strip lighting and place it so that it spirals around the inside of the bucket at leaf level. The wilty leaves of a pepper plant should love this and take in extra light and grow bigger fruits, at least in my theory. Anyways:

It was probably too humid, not enough airflow for Papaver. Cool toy, though.

lol, no papaver here, at least yet. Maybe someday but for now I don't have the space. Uhhh I just realized I haven't even posted the weed ones and those are way better. Standby....

    Awesone bruh

We grew a lot of pepper plants two seasons ago

    Made a few Chile Rellanos

The thing that is tricky about peppers is peeling them

Well under direct sunlight, you'll get some after...2 to 3 months

    How long has it been?

We had about 6 pepper plants going so we had more than enough to eat.

We didn't start the garden this year cause we were lazy.

You can see the light in that picture. It's a 15 watt CFL.

But now I've made a new enclosure for my plant because it outgrew the last one. It's a lot bigger now and producing peppers. So now that it is in bigger enclosure I've added two more 8 W LEDs, so now there's 3 lightbulbs at the top. However, because of this I have noticed the plant is growing in a sort of strange manner, where the leaves at the top where the light shines are very luscious and the leaves at the bottom are smaller and weaker. So today I got some LED light strips that will go around the inside of the enclosure around the center and bottom of the pepper plant so that it's being blasted with light from all directions all the time.
