I know there's been some defenses of murder based off sleepwalking, some even successful I believe.
What do you think should happen to a person that can prove they were sleepwalking and completely unaware of what they were doing when they committed a murder?
There has to be some responsibility right?

You can't prove you were sleepwalking.
I think it's ridiculous anyone has gotten away with that defense. "I've never been a sleepwalker before, but last night I accidentally stabbed to death my wife who I hate. I was so asleep I didn't even wake up when she started shrieking and clawing at my face."

Off topic but man
My dad said I sleep walked to the trashcan and took a piss the other night, and then began to tell him that I went to the bathroom.
