   thaw meat on one of those metal grid plates.. they seem to work.
   
   But microwave on 10% for 3-5 minutes per inch of meat thickness works too. depending on the Watt count. Also 1200 watt microwave defrosting is more than likely to tuff'n the meat. they cook faster but aren't suggested for thawing use. we had one.
