   Whelp, I fucked up and introduced a bug that made it possible to see some of the IP addresses users have posted from. The bug was pushed live at 1am PST on Sep 26, it was patched just now. It was "reported" at roughly noon today in this thread:

   I apologize everyone, what was able to be accessed was the top 10 IPs you post from and any IP you've posted from that another poster has also posted from. This is not identifying information although it does possibly narrow your location down to a general metropolitan area. Regardless of if it can identify you or not it should not have been made public, it was made visible by a regression introduced at roughly 1am Sep 26 PST and was patched a few minutes ago.

   
   As a follow up, if you discover a bug that potentially leaks user info (including your own) I encourage you to PM or email me (email on the "about" page, can also be used to reach me if there's an outage but you'll need to take note of it since the about page won't be available in a site-down scenario) so I can patch it before the issue is broadcast publicly. Not that I expect anyone is worried about it, but no one will ever be banned for finding or disclosing site bugs or security issues.
