Those trucks can run in the several thousands of dollars easily in packages on a run, half of it is business insured and stuff that Simply cannot be lost.
UPS is too big to take risks, you have to just wait. Thats what you get for not using a small courier or shipping service.
Even medium carriers minimize risk but small private shipping firms like the ones farmers use and certain stores will have only a few items, sometimes an entire flatbed and one skid is yours. Shipping is all logistics and you took the easy/lazy route.
I have been shipping/receiving since my teens I am on the phone sending out faxes and writing manifests I, thats why I get shit down and make easy money, when you put the effort in customers respect you a lot for consistent good service.
If you have customers waiting dont pass the blame on to ups during a fucking tropical storm, the egg is on your face and if you are pffftttbhhh yelling about gay rape FUCKING Bill Krozby during a hurricane you will look even more like a retard and the customer will go elsewhere (to me, the competition).
You might have more experience in whatever items you are shipping, sourcing, whatever but unless you master shipping and global logistics the most you will ever do is set up a wooden stand on a dirt road selling gun parts like a nigger.
