Killing a creature for survival should be the very last resort and there is no excuse in causing the death of an innocent when you are surrounded by technology and resources. I went years without eating beef, I grew everything I ate at the crack shack and lived off fish and wild meat like elk and moose, and I shared the meat with neighbors, friends and made stew which I shared with visitors.
Besides that I had my tomatos, fruit trees, beans and grape vine which kept me alive through many meth binges when I couldn't eat solid food hardly.
Also doritos brand triangles. Chickens also produce food without having to kill the animal (inb4 eggs are fetuses)
Cows are better to be milked anyways and slaughtered at the end of their milk run after calving. Fucking city boys (and I'm from the city).
If your gonna kill a cow make sure to use the entire animal leave nothing to waste. Even the non edible organs have use, waste is bad.
That being said I do believe animals are property and if its yours you should be able to shoot , torture, research on it all you want.
