There was a case where a sophisticated malware crew used instagram comments on Brittany Spears pictures as a means of communicating commands to their malware. That was pretty ingenious, to the average person it just looked like some guy posting things like: OH Sexy!! Good pics1. Or something, i don't recall the precise wording but that was pretty good. I imagine nation-state level actors could do something similar.

    With his weird (apparent) knowledge of Jeff Hunter and totse it could be that THEY filled him in briefly on just enough info to make him seem like some old obscure member of the community.
    
    Surely some of THEM are familiar with totse's history and know enough about Jeff Hunter and some of the other key players to pass it to t2001 to help him blend in.
    
    The rest of it, the nonsensical jargon and abstract writings would be part of the plan, something we'd grow quickly used to, all the while some of the most important information known to mankind has been being relayed and transmitted through our little forum.
