Uber just told Oakland it's not going to make downtown Oakland it's headquarters and move everyone into the old Sear Building it is spending millions to overhaul.
you have companies moving in left and right into Oakland and driving up real estate. Is it a good thing or a complete fail. what will it do to real estate prices..probably not a whole lot because people are moving out here anyways, but the drive was to make Oakland just as techie as SF.
