If you don't, America will default on it's loans, when that happens the state can't borrow any more money so the fed will have to print the difference which will cause inflation. In response to the devaluation of the dollar everyone who owns dollars is going to NOPE the fuck out of there dumping even more dollars on the economy which will only exacerbate the situation. Until you get Wiemar republic style scenarios and niggers have to haul wheelbarrows full of dollars to the bakery to buy a loaf of bread. This is going to happen sooner or later anyway, defaulting on the debt will just make it happen sooner.

That's what you get for making drugs illegal. Laws aren't free, oh you want federal guidelines for marijuana regulation?, that will be 1trillion $$'s please. The taxes from legal drugs would pay off the national debt and cover the public healthcare costs of addiction. Not to mention that the illicit drug trade would vanish, crime and prison numbers would drop to the lowest in history and even addiction rates would decline with less OD's and better treatment options.
