Good mods rarely ban. You only ban as a very last resort. Most times, all you have to do is open up a chat with the offender and talk things through, and 9.9 out of 10 times you can avoid action entirely. Of course, if you have no real delivery, if you are akin to a bull in a China shop, if you have no way with people and are socially inept, that ain't gonna happen. And yet that's the model of mod who is appointed 99 out of 100 times.
