i have a morbid fascination with roaches, i have hated the FUCK out of them ever since i was little. used to be outright scared of them, still kind of am unnerved by them but the majority of it has transformed into a burning desire to kill the shit out of one if i see it.

theyre interesting little vermin... roaches do a thing called "traumatic insemination" where they poke a hole in the abdomen of the female with their ovipositor and lay the eggs in her like that, so basically stabwound intercourse. also, the reason roaches are so resilient to radiation is because their cells only undergo meosis during their molting cycle, and since cells are only (mostly) vulnerable to radiation during division, they have a pretty sizable window of rad resistance.

    roaches can also swarm
