Rank your STEM faves

So STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) is actually a pretty wide field. How would you rank your own interest in STEM subjects? If the acronym pertained to me it would be MSET because I like mathematics more than science more than engineering more than technology. I only say engineering more than tech because I have a huge hardon for biological and chemical engineering.

What are your favorite STEM subjects?

I am totally uneducated so most of that stuff is over my head.

It's still interesting to me, though.

IDK, it's kind of a dorky acronym. I'd argue that the study of engineering is synonymous with the study of technology and together they represent a proper subset of science. And math's just its own thing off on the side. I find theoretical computer science to be the most interesting STEM sub-field/niche and I'll make the somewhat controversial claim that it's a dusty corner of mathematics for the most part so I guess I'd say mathematics, technology, engineering, science. I'm a little self conscious saying that as I'm just a code monkey, and as much as I might try to distance myself from the "blue collar" shadow of that job title the reality is I sling code for a living rather than real computer science

Tech then science if i'm honest but that's because i'm too lazy to apply myself to learn some hardcore physics.

I'm astonished by the vast differences in different models of thinking and how we communicate our perspectives. People can say the same old shit in so many different ways, and that tells me more about how they see the world - enough to know there are as many perspectives as there are people. It alleviates my concern that some are generics of others.
