   His blog is really in-depth; it deals a lot with tactical information relating to how the Iraqi military is pushing forward including information about specific units and occurrences. I suspect the vast majority of his data is the same or similar to what you can find on Southfront, but he also includes local chatter and information on non-military situations which is often overlooked and can be just as important when trying to understand what's going on in a macro sense.
