   Love the beach. it's pretty cool having one near here. the dogs run free off of leashes. its very old school feel. no park cops telling people to leave or whatever. I guess it's private property but the owner lets people visit it. its right next to the Golden Gate Field they recently closed down last year. That was a stomping ground for my highschool friends and mine and we would bet on horses which they let us do but when we tried to collect they would ID us and tell us we couldn't collect.

    Alameda is another great beach. 3 miles long. but it's starting to erode and now they're doing like Denmark is doing. they're placing a rock wall created by the Army Corp of Eng which no doubt DOGE will shut down. they should of did this a decade ago
    
    the problem is it will stop the freedom of kicking it in the sand and then going into the water so freely. wont feel so much like a beach. but it stops the expensive replacement of sand they do every 5-10 years (at least when I lived down the street from it as a kid)
